A wonderful question! Fantastical encompasses the magical and the fantastic. Fiction, science fiction, fantasy, allegory, magic, horror, adventure, etc… We look forward to all the wonderful things to cross our desks.

Guidelines
For all submissions, please include your full name, the name you prefer to be published (optional), your address, email and the title of your submission(s).
Writing:
Accepting: Poetry, prose, novel chapters, flash fiction, jokes, essays, snippets, interesting articles, collage format texts, etc… *** To qualify for publication in the hardcopy of Vain, submissions must be 5000 words or less. All pieces over 5000 words are eligible to appear online, unless special arrangements are made.
Art:
Accepting: Fine art, collages, comics, photography, photos of sculptures, digital art, etc… 300 dpi, if possible. The bigger, the better.
Audio:
Accepting music of all kinds, readings, interesting sounds, etc… Suggested file format: mp3 via email -or- hard copy of CD sent to 2900 S King St Unit A, Seattle, WA 98144
*** For bands/groups, please include:
Name of band
Name members along with instruments played
Band website or contact information
Optional: Genre
Optional: Title of album
Optional: List of upcoming shows w/ dates and venues
Title of piece
***Bands must not have a recording contract with a record company in order to be published.

If you work is accepted for publication, you will be notified by email and requested to submit a short bio as well as a signed consent form.
